The Fun of Learning to Dive in Grand Cayman

Grand Cayman Islands Turtles Photos There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time! When you inhale you sound like something from a Sci-Fi movie and when you exhale it’s nothing but bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles! Most people realize how easy scuba diving really is after just a few short minutes, while others take a little more TLC. At Cayman Turtle Divers we have the experience and patience to handle even the most skeptic divers. It’s easy because on this and every Grand Cayman diving experience, we treat you like family!  The biggest challenge instructors have with the Discover Scuba Diving program is not convincing you to get into the water, but convincing you to get out when the dive is finished. The fun part? It’s all fun!
Plus, you can get credit towards your PADI Open Water certification, putting you one step closer when you decide to go for it.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases, knowledge development with either online home study or in a classroom. This will help you to understand basic principles of scuba diving. If you choose to do the classroom with us, we often find ourselves sitting under a palm tree on 7-mile beach. Next you will complete the confined water dives to learn basic scuba skills. This is done in a pool or a pool like setting. Diving Grand Cayman is almost always pool like conditions! Finally we will complete 4 open water dives in which we will review your skills, explore and dive Grand Cayman. To enroll in the PADI Open Diver course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must be 10 years or older. The PADI eLearning requires a minimum age of 13 years
